Happy Thanksgiving (2015)

Happy Thanksgiving.

This year, I'm thankful for the compassion and values of our country. America's tradition of opening its doors to immigrants goes back to its founding.  Almost 50 years ago, this country opened its doors to one particular pair of migrants I love very much: my parents.
I'm thankful for Boulder.  It has welcomed people seeking opportunity since 1851 when gold seekers established its first non-native community.   I was first welcomed into this community in the summer of 2000.

I'm thankful for my friends and family.  Their love and support have been unconditional.  I'm thankful for my clients and their trust in me.   Many have transitioned into my closest friends.  I'm thankful for my health.  I'm thankful for my teachers and my colleagues, past and present.

I'm thankful for the environment that nurtures and sustains us.   For the earth, for biodiversity, for the wonder and beauty of life on this planet.

Happy Thanksgiving.
