FAR Calculator (Easy!)
As you can probably tell from my flurry of posts, I'm outraged at City Council's irresponsible and hurried attempt to limit the Floor Area Ratio without careful consideration and adequate public involvement.
To make it easy for you to do the math, I put together a little FAR calculator. If you have Microsoft Excel, you can download it here.

Wasn't there a go-round on this issue in the early 90s? I had a house built in the neighborhood just south of Lucky's market in North Boulder and the developer voluntarily complied with proposed regulations, giving us a nice backyard but a fairly small house footprint. It never went through, though.
I don't like the massive mansions on small lots either but hey people, this is taking things a bit too far!
