House Einstein is excited to announce our first guest blogger, Joanne Hanson.Joanne was born in New Zealand and is a Kiwi. Even though her family moved to the US when she was a child, she still has strong ties to the country and visits frequently. After living in various parts of the US, raising her family in Kansas City, Joanne settled in Colorado in 1986.
Now a Realtor in Summit County, Joanne has owned property there for 20 years and lived in Silverthorne full time for almost 15 years. Working with Coldwell Banker Colorado Rockies in Frisco, Joanne and The Mountain Living Team enjoy the lifestyle for which the mountains are known, yet they still are able to give their clients the level of service they deserve. Second homeowners have unique needs as they are often not in physical proximity of their properties. Joanne is a resource, both before and after the purchase of the vacation home.
A guide for the Over the Hill Gang at Copper Mountain, Joanne enjoys skiing with the OHG members. She owns a rental condo at Copper Mountain, and therefore has personal knowledge of the ins and outs of vacation rental property. In the summer she hikes, photographs the scenery and paints Summit County landscapes in oil. Her work hangs in galleries in Frisco and Breckenridge.
