Lafayette CO Housing Market Analysis
Here's the latest market analysis for Lafayette Colorado Real Estate, updated through March 2006.
The charts below cover Sales Volume, Median Sale Price, Inventory, Average Days to Contract, and the Sales to Inventory Ratio for residential real estate in Lafayette, Colorado (excluding attached dwellings).
As shown below, Inventory levels remain low in Lafayette while Sales Volume trails last year (but ahead of '04). Average Days to Contract were shorter in January and February this year than in the previous two years, but greater in March. Median Sale Price took a starting leap upwards in March, driven by the sale of higher value homes.

Gret job! You might probably have to mention the huge difference in Lafayette locations - it has both Uber upscale Indian Peaks area and trailer parks ang ghettos around downtown, And we are talking about the small city with ~20K population... go figure. please keep your blog alive :-)

Thanks for commenting. Yes, there is a large variance in housing in many communities. Another reason it's so important to dig beneath the surface and see what's happening within the market. Median price is a better indicator than average price, generally. It's less prone to skew.
