Recent Links

by Osman Parvez

I've got a few posts in the works. In the meanwhile, here are some interesting (and related) links:

Here's a link to my post, "Why Boulder?" and the original one announcing the move.

It appears that local builders are increasingly building with energy efficiency in mind while the giant national builders aren't.

Here's a piece on developer Mickey Zeppelin's "Landscraper" complex (skyscrapers go up, landscrapers go sideways) being built along the Platte River. The 550ft long, 4 stories high structure with views of the river and the mountains will be Denver's longest building when completed.

Vail Resorts (MTN) is getting set to pull the trigger on $185MM to $195MM on real estate releated improvements across 5 resorts including continued development of a golf course community in Jackson Hole and the second phase of the Mountain Thunder Lodge Condos in Breckenridge.

Finally, here's a piece from New West on Montana and Colorado Cities caught in Growth Dilemmas.

Enjoy!
