Happy New Year!

by Osman Parvez

Today is the last day of 2005 and for much of the past week, the Realty Unique Team has been reflecting on the last year, reviewing our goals, and setting new ones for 2006 and beyond.

There is much to be appreciative of from 2005. We relocated from Nantucket, MA to Boulder, CO. We uprooted our careers, leaving a growing real estate boutique to launch our own team here in Colorado. I'm also helping found yet another startup company. Our nephew Jordan was born, a true miracle baby who underwent a heart transplant only a few days after birth and is now thriving. We've reconnected with old friends here in Boulder and made many new ones. And so much more to be thankful of from 2005. Life has been good to us.

Setting goals and reviewing them regularly is something I highly recommend for anybody who wants to maximize quality of experience in life. As a friend of mine used to say regularly, "It's not your practice life after all."

Professionally we're setting transaction goals, marketing goals, dollar volume goals, client interaction goals, and more. For our clients, the question we ask ourselves is "how can we add more value?" Adding value to our clients' process of buying and selling of real estate is a core mission for our team. We believe long term success results from creating high value for our clients.

We're setting personal goals too, seeking healthier living and more enjoyment from life. I plan to cycle more regularly, doubling my tracked bicycle miles from about 1,000 miles in 2005 to 2,000 miles. I hope to hike more, camp more, and further enjoy the company of friends and family.

Thank you clients, colleagues, friends, and family for a great 2005. We wish you the best in 2006.

Happy New Year!
